About this beta

OLWIF is a UK-based, not-for-profit unincorporated community/voluntary group providing public-information research for a worldwide audience. Research is free to use and does not require an account or wallet connection. Charity registration is planned but has not been completed. OLWIF is not a registered charity or company.

For service questions, privacy enquiries, corrections or removal requests, contact hello@olwif.org. The members responsible for deciding how OLWIF operates remain accountable for those decisions; this contact address is not a separate legal entity. These terms apply to OLWIF’s free public beta.

Research only

Reports are educational and informational, not financial, legal, tax or investment advice. They do not recommend transactions or guarantee accuracy, completeness, safety, liquidity or returns. Tokens can lose their entire value. No label or entertainment disclaimer makes inaccurate claims acceptable.

No account or wallet connection

The public research release does not offer personal accounts, portfolios, account watchlists or account notifications. You can read reports and download a copy without signing a wallet message. OLWIF does not request private keys, seed phrases, spending approvals or transactions.

On-page wallet research concerns public project addresses, not a connected personal wallet. It shows a bounded snapshot. Optional minute-by-minute watching lasts up to 20 minutes while the page remains visible; it is not continuous monitoring or an emergency alert service.

Rewards and independence

No OLWIF token, signup reward, social-sharing bonus or creator-fee payout is offered by this beta. The rewards area is inactive; it does not promise a future payment. A funded campaign would require separate reviewed eligibility, disclosure and payment terms before opening.

The same published assessment rules apply to all tokens, including any future OLWIF-affiliated token. Affiliation must be disclosed, never used to grant a better rating. Public code is evidence that can be inspected, not proof of an audit, safety or profitable performance. A celebration marks a recent snapshot where the displayed overall verdict and all five categories are green; it is not an endorsement or prediction.

Use the sources

Information can be delayed, incomplete, manipulated or wrong. Check the cited sources, exact chain and address independently. Linked websites are operated by others; a link does not establish an official affiliation or endorsement.

Research scope and permitted use

OLWIF organises limited public information: market snapshots, token-risk observations, supported blockchain records, directly linked repository metadata, and selected factual observations from eligible project pages. Findings include collection times, evidence links and relevant gaps. This is on-demand research, not a full-chain index, a verified social-history service or continuous monitoring.

Reports contain selected evidence and OLWIF’s assessments. They do not provide unrestricted access to a provider’s API or permission to republish its underlying data. Downloads remain subject to applicable source rights and required attribution. We may limit, refresh, hide or remove information for accuracy, privacy, source conditions or a valid rights request. Naming a provider here does not claim that it has approved OLWIF.

Third-party data & research providers

OLWIF brings information together and presents the research in one place. We do not originate every fact or own the underlying third-party content. Depending on the network, available information and enabled connections, checks may use:

• DEX Screener and GeckoTerminal (a CoinGecko service) for market snapshots and project metadata.
• RugCheck and GoPlus Security for available token-risk observations.
• Blockscout explorers and public Solana endpoints operated by PublicNode, Solana Tracker and Solana for supported blockchain records.
• GitHub for information about directly linked public repositories.
• Tavily for discovering public pages, and Jina Reader for retrieving a limited selection of public-page text. The original publishers retain their rights in that content.

This is a list of available connections, not a promise that every provider was used or returned information for a particular report. Collection times and evidence gaps remain part of each report. Provider names are kept out of the main findings where possible; original evidence links and any required attribution remain available.

OLWIF is responsible for its own presentation and assessments. These providers do not endorse OLWIF or approve its ratings. A provider’s name, a search result, a matching address or a linked profile does not establish a project’s authenticity, wrongdoing or safety. Automated observations and project claims are not a complete audit or an independently verified social history.

The beta uses limited public access and a restricted search allowance. When a connection is unavailable or its allowance is exhausted, evidence may be incomplete. Removing operational details from the report does not change those limits or the information actually checked.

The CoinGecko API and its associated intellectual property belong to CoinGecko. Its API terms and attribution requirements apply where its services are used. This disclosure is not a substitute for required on-page credit, a licence or any necessary permission.

Third-party licences, usage restrictions and privacy policies continue to apply. This page does not grant visitors rights to republish or resell third-party data, remove required credit, or bypass access restrictions. Reports and downloads contain factual summaries, OLWIF-authored findings and evidence links, not a bulk API relay. Required provider credits accompany relevant data. Automated reads are restricted to eligible sources; a public link does not authorise scraping. See our privacy notice for how research requests and saved reports are handled.

Independent service & third-party logos

OLWIF is an independent research service. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the blockchain networks displayed on this site or their associated foundations, companies or organisations.

Network names, logos and other brand marks are shown only to identify networks that OLWIF can research and to help visitors find their websites. They remain the property of their respective rights holders. Their appearance does not mean that a rights holder has approved OLWIF, its research, ratings or findings.

OLWIF does not claim a partnership, endorsement agreement or special permission from those rights holders. A publicly available logo or an icon-library licence is not, by itself, evidence of a trademark licence or an agreement with the organisation represented.

This notice does not grant OLWIF or visitors permission to use third-party marks, override any applicable licence or brand-use rules, or waive a rights holder’s legal rights. Any required permissions and compliance with applicable law remain necessary.

Leaving OLWIF

Blockchain-logo links open external network websites in a new tab. Those sites are independently operated and subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Linking to a network is not a recommendation to buy an asset, connect a wallet, transfer funds or use a third-party service. Review the destination and its terms before taking any action.

Use responsibly

Do not submit passwords, seed phrases, private keys or personal documents. Do not use OLWIF to break the law, harass or threaten people, discriminate, expose private information, distribute malware, bypass access controls or request limits, impersonate others or present a report as a formal audit. Do not resell provider APIs or raw data, remove required credit, or use provider data for gambling promotion or advertising targeting. Relevant provider terms and intellectual-property rights continue to apply.

Report abuse

Report suspected misuse to hello@olwif.org with the report link and a short explanation. We may restrict requests, pause an affected feature or remove material while investigating. We do not make automated financial decisions or act on anyone’s behalf; reports organise evidence and do not select investments for visitors.

OLWIF accepts responsibility for providing its service and presenting its findings. To the extent permitted by law, CoinGecko has no liability to visitors for its API, OLWIF reports or financial decisions made using them. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Availability and changes

Features and source coverage may change during testing. The owner can pause checks or hide reports while investigating errors. This beta does not promise uninterrupted service or an emergency response.

Report retention and corrections

Saved reports are dated evidence, not permanent or continuously updated records. We review reports at 90 days and earlier when concerns arise, retaining them longer only where a documented research, dispute or legal purpose still requires them. Review and removal are manual; there is no automatic deletion timer. Hiding restricts access but is not deletion. See the retention and removal policy for the criteria and request process.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you have a complaint about OLWIF, contact hello@olwif.org with the relevant page and concern so the group can review it. This does not limit your statutory rights, access to a regulator or right to seek a legal remedy. Material changes to these terms will be dated on this page.
